COHEN & COHEN
Welcome to the Digital Assistant Library for Cohen & Cohen. On the left, you’ll find a brief video from our Founder and Managing Partner, Wayne Cohen. Below, we’ve included answers to some of the most frequently asked questions we’ve encountered over 30 years of practicing law and handling thousands of injury cases. These resources are designed to help you navigate your injury claim with as little stress as possible. While the videos are presented by a digital assistant, all content has been approved by our experienced lawyers. If you have any additional questions, feel free to call our office at 202-955-4529.

How do contingency fees work?
At Cohen & Cohen, we work on a contingency fee basis for personal injury cases, which means our clients do not pay any upfront fees or hourly rates. Instead, our fee is contingent upon successfully recovering compensation for our clients. If we win the case or secure a settlement, we receive a percentage of the recovery as our fee. If we do not win, our clients owe us nothing for our legal services. This arrangement allows us to align our interests with those of our clients, ensuring that we are fully committed to achieving the best possible outcome in every case.
