    How do contingency fees work?

At Cohen & Cohen, we work on a contingency fee basis for personal injury cases, which means our clients do not pay any upfront fees or hourly rates. Instead, our fee is contingent upon successfully recovering compensation for our clients. If we win the case or secure a settlement, we receive a percentage of the recovery as our fee. If we do not win, our clients owe us nothing for our legal services. This arrangement allows us to align our interests with those of our clients, ensuring that we are fully committed to achieving the best possible outcome in every case.
